Brown Glitter Eye Look

I’ve been seeing a lot of prom tutorials circling the YouTube market lately and it inspired me to bring my glitter back out and this was the outcome!

Love, Chloe.

Step 1: Eyebrows – I did my eyebrows as usual (there’s a step by step already on my page) and carved them out using the Maybelline fit me concealer, placing it all over my lid as well to prime my eyes. I then set the concealer with the Rimmel stay matte powder.

Step 2: Transition Shades – First, I took my Morphe single eyeshadow in Spice and buffed it into the crease using my Morphe E23 brush. Then, using the same brush I took a light brown shade in the Morphe 35O palette and did the same thing, making sure to blend out the colours until there’s no harsh lines.

Step 3: Deepening the Crease – To deepen the crease, I went in with my Make-Up Geek single eyeshadow in Cocoa Bear on a Morphe M441 brush and buffed this slightly lower down than the previous transition shades. I then went in with a darker brown from the Morphe 35O palette on the same brush, and continued to deepen the crease, making sure that each shadow is blended out before moving onto the next.

Step 4: Lid Base and Glitter – As a base for the glitter, I went in with my Urban Decay shadow in Punk on a flat brush and placed this all over the lid, making sure to buff out the edges as I go. For the glitter, I used my FM London pressed Glitter in Rainbow Coffee. As it is a pressed glitter, it does not require any glitter glue to be placed down beforehand. Using my finger to make sure I got the most pigment, I patted the pressed glitter all over the lid.

Step 5: Blending – To make sure that the glitter is fully blended in with the crease shades, I took a bit more of punk and the dark shadows on a small Morphe M506 brush and blended the crease out a bit more.

Step 6: Lower Lash Line – I placed some black pencil liner in my water line and buffed it out using the Morphe M431 brush. I then took some black shadow and set the liner. Taking a bit of punk and some of the crease shadows on the same brush, I smoked out the lower lash line.

Step 7: Finishing Touches – To finish off the eye look I took some liquid liner and drew a single line across the lid in order to help the band of my eyelashes blend in. I then coated my top and bottom lashes with mascara and put any pair of lashes I could find, on. Lastly, I highlighted the brow bone and inner corner with the Sleek Solstice highlighting palette.
